GAO has a robust internal training program, delivering introductory and continuing education to its staff through its own Learning Center. LC offers training and resources that enhance staff skills in report writing, computing, congressional relations, data literacy, emotional intelligence, media relations, and performance management, as well as diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
LC also offers coaching, leadership assessments, mentoring, organizational development services, and access to several on-demand e-learning courses. It also coordinates the agency-wide on-boarding process that welcomes new hires.
