OEEO helps GAO promote and maintain a work environment that is fair, unbiased, and inclusive by: 

  • Running GAO’s discrimination complaint process and comprehensive Anti-Harassment Policy
  • Maintaining GAO’s training on harassment, discrimination, and bystander intervention, and on the related policies and processes
  • Advising the Executive Committee and senior staff on equal employment opportunity (EEO) issues 
  • Supporting audit teams on reports involving EEO issues
