Inspectors General: Alleged Misconduct by NASA Inspector General

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO reviewed allegations of misconduct by the former National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Inspector General (IG), focusing on whether the former IG: (1) prenotified senior NASA employees of impending IG investigations; (2) improperly disclosed grand jury-related information; and (3) prematurely closed selected audits and investigations.
