GAO published a second edition of Title IV of its Military Personnel Law Manual, which presents an overview of important Comptroller General decisions concerning military personnel law issued through September 30, 1992. The manual supersedes the 1983 Military Personnel Law Manual and covers such issues as participation in the Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), annuities, annuity adjustment, pre-effective date retirees, waiver and recovery of erroneous SBP payments, and former spouse coverage.
