Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO provided information on the 1947 weather balloon crash at Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF), New Mexico, focusing on: (1) the requirements for reporting air accidents similar to the Roswell crash; and (2) any government records concerning the Roswell crash.
