Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO reviewed the impact of Russian participation in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) space station program, focusing on whether Russian participation will: (1) reduce space station funding requirements by $2 billion as NASA estimates; and (2) improve the station's capabilities for conducting research.
