Department of Education: The Eisenhower Math and Science State Grant Program

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO reviewed the Department of Education's Dwight D. Eisenhower Mathematics and Science Education Program, focusing on how: (1) state grant funds are spent; (2) experts view proposed program improvements; (3) Education collects and analyzes program data; and (4) federal agencies coordinate and sponsor math and science education programs.
