Intercollegiate Athletics: Compensation Varies for Selected Personnel in Athletic Departments

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO provided information on intercollegiate athletics, focusing on: (1) the revenues and expenses of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and its member schools' athletic departments; (2) the gender and race or ethnicity of staff members in schools' athletic departments; and (3) the compensation of those staff members.
