Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO reviewed the White House's acquisition and use of the Resumix computer system, focusing on whether: (1) federal acquisition regulations were followed in acquiring Resumix; (2) Resumix is an appropriate system compared to other systems; (3) the Resumix project manager had financial interests with Resumix suppliers; and (4) recent White House computer acquisitions could perform the same tasks as Resumix.
