Employee Drug Testing: Estimated Cost to Test All Executive Branch Employees and New Hires

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO provided information on: (1) the estimated cost of drug testing for all executive branch employees; (2) the estimated cost of drug testing for all applicants for federal positions; and (3) Department of Justice estimates for costs it has incurred in litigation related federal employee drug testing.
