Recommendations for Executive Action

Agency Affected Recommendation Status
Federal Aviation Administration 1. FAA should review its space needs at Stapleton to determine whether its actual requirements are for space near the airport. FAA should consider a resolicitation that provides offerers with space located on or near Stapleton Airport an opportunity to compete, and an indication through evaluation criteria of the weight to be accorded proximity to the airport.
Closed - Implemented
FAA agreed with this recommendation and reconsidered its space needs and considered a resolicitation, but decided that it would not be in the government's best interest.
