Federal Categorical Assistance to State Governments

A list of federal categorical assistance programs for which states are the only eligible applicants, and the 1978 estimated obligations for these programs, was requested by the Joint Economic Committee. The list is based on the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance, dated November 1978, from the Office of Management and Budget.
