Comments on H.R. 5103, Mineta letter

GAO was asked to present comments on H.R. 5103, the Civil Aeronautics Board Sunset Act of 1981. The bill provides for the orderly transfer of Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) functions to other agencies. The provisions of the bill are consistent with the prior GAO recommendation concerning the transfer of CAB functions to other agencies. Therefore, no comments or suggestions were offered on the proposed legislation.
