Back Pay for Concurrent Military and Civilian Service

A civilian employee claimed additional backpay in connection with his wrongful removal from employment with the Department of the Army. The claim for backpay may not be paid for the period after the employee entered active military duty, since his military service rendered the claimant unavailable for civilian employment.
