Relocation Expenses in Anticipation of Transfer

A Certifying Officer requested reimbursement for a Bureau of Indian Affairs employee to cover the cost of transporting his household goods in anticipation of transfer to a new duty station to which he was transferred 2 months later. The reimbursement is authorized because of administrative intent to transfer the employee at the time the expenses were incurred.
