The Postal Office Department requested the reevaluation by the Comptroller General as to whether or not government funds may be used for the construction of parking facilities for postal employees at the Minneapolis Post Office. These employees would be severely inconvenienced in the summer months when parking facilities close to the main postal facility due to the severe deterioration in public transportation services.
