Budget authority required to be made available for obligation pursuant to section 1013(b) of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 has been released. This provision of the act states that budget authority proposed to be deferred must be made available for obligation if either House of Congress passes an impoundment resolution disapproving such deferral. Proposed deferrals of budget authority for one Department of Transportation project and four Energy Research and Development Administration projects were the subject of impoundment resolutions on November 1 and 2, 1977.
