Advancing Knowledge and the Knowledge Economy

This is a Comptroller General Presentation delivered to the National Science Foundation's International Conference at the National Acadamies in Washington, DC on January 11, 2005. Major topics of this presentation include: focusing on maximizing value, managing risk, and enhancing responsiveness, helping leaders facilitate and manage change, the framework for a comprehensive national indicator system, and facilitating knowledge management by implementing a strategic plan, core values and organizational alignment.
