Highlights

GAO provided summaries of conclusions and recommendations resulting from its audits and other reviews of federal civil departments and agencies. GAO summarized those recommendations on which no satisfactory legislative or administrative actions have been taken or are being taken. GAO submitted the summaries for use in congressional review of budget requests for fiscal year 1986.
