[Protest of Air Force Solicitation for Sewer Line Repairs]

A firm protested an Air Force solicitation for sewer line repairs, contending that the solicitation's brand name specifications unduly restricted competition. GAO held that the protester was not sufficiently interested to protest the solicitation, since it would not be in line for award even if its protest were sustained. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
