Highlights

A firm protested the Navy's rejection of its bid, contending that the Navy improperly rejected its bid for failure to submit a bond in the required amount. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed after bid opening its protest of the bonding requirement; and (2) Navy properly rejected the protester's bid as nonresponsive, since its bid bond was inadequate. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
