Per Diem Allowance for Air National Guard Technician on Temporary Duty in Civilian and Military Status

A decision was requested on the entitlement of an employee to per diem allowance while acting as a technician in the Air National Guard and holding dual military and civilian status. The technician is entitled to per diem at the civiliam rate for Friday because it was part of the regular workweek and to per diem at the military rate for Saturday and Sunday which were considered as inactive duty training periods.
