GAO has completed a survey of the actions the Navy has taken or has planned to correct the longstanding problems being experienced with the Navy's Joint Uniform Military Pay System (JUMPS).

Department of the Navy The Secretary of the Navy, at the earliest possible date, should adopt for all members the twice-monthly central pay computation that is planned for those members choosing electronic transfer of pay.
