Federal Information Sources and Systems

This directory describes federal sources and information systems maintained by executive, independent, and legislative agencies, which contain fiscal, budgetary, and program-related information. In addition to the usual bibliographic information, each citation provides a descriptive abstract containing information on the purposes, data content, inputs and outputs, relevant budget program information, authorizing legislation, congressional committee jurisdiction, and geographic relevance.
