Highlights

A firm protested a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) solicitation for preventive maintenance and repair services on a mobile magnetic resonance imager, contending that the solicitation was defective, since it did not state the specific numerical weight of each evaluation factor. GAO held that: (1) VA was not required to state the specific numerical weight of each evaluation factor; and (2) the solicitation provided sufficient information on the evaluation scheme and adequately advised bidders of the basis on which bids would be evaluated. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
