Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of the dismissal of its protest of a Navy solicitation for radar display units. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its protest of the Navy's linkage of its pricing under a letter contract to its pricing under a competitive procurement. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) it was not required to protest before the closing date for receipt of final offers; and (2) GAO should consider its protest under the significant-issue exception to timeliness rules. GAO held that the protest: (1) was untimely; and (2) did not present significant issues. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
