A firm protested a Navy contract award for air compressors, contending that, in response to a GAO recommendation, the Navy improperly determined that the protester's alternative technology was unacceptable. GAO held that the protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it knew the basis for protest. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
