A firm protested a Department of Defense (DOD) contract award for sale of surplus steel scrap, contending that DOD improperly: (1) corrected an error in the awardee's bid; and (2) awarded the sale to the awardee. GAO held that DOD properly: (1) corrected the awardee's bid error; and (2) made the award. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
