Highlights
A firm protested an Air Force contract award for packing and crating services, contending that the Air Force improperly limited competition by failing to provide it, the incumbent, with a copy of the solicitation. GAO held that, although the Air Force inadvertently excluded the protester from its mailing list, it adequately fulfilled its obligation to publicize the procurement and obtained a sufficient number of bids to satisfy procurement requirements. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
