Highlights
A firm protested an Army solicitation that was set aside for small businesses, arguing that the Small Business Administration's (SBA) determination that the solicitation's size standard was incorrect required the Army to modify and reissue the solicitation. GAO held that, since the SBA decision was made after contract award, the Army was not required to cancel the solicitation. Rather, the correct size standard must be used in all future procurements for this product. Accordingly, the protest was summarily denied.
