Highlights
A firm protested any award of an Air Force small business set-aside contract, contending that the Air Force's modification of the required size standard affected the eligibility of potential bidders. The protester sought to delay bid opening, pending a Small Business Administration (SBA) determination of whether the modified size standard was proper. GAO held that it has no authority to order the suspension of procurement proceedings pending an SBA size determination. Further, since bids had already been opened, any ruling would only affect future procurements. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
