Highlights

A firm protested a Federal Aviation Administration contract award issued under an invitation for bids. The protest was not filed with GAO until more than 2 months after award and, although it could not be determined on what date the protester had received notification that an award had been made, it was reasonable to assume that the protest was not filed within 10 days of that date. Since bid protest procedures require that a protest be filed within that timeframe, GAO concluded that the protest was untimely and not for consideration. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
