An employee appealed the disallowance of his claim for reimbursement for daily commuting expenses, additional per diem, and a second telephone user fee incurred in connection with extended temporary duty. The employee was not entitled to reimbursement of commuting expenses since use of a privately owned vehicle was not authorized. He was entitled to computation of the per diem allowance without a requirement of receipts for lodging for a period in which the Commander had dispensed with the receipt requirement. The disbursing officer was authorized to audit the entire period of the employee's temporary duty assignment.
