Protest Against Requirement for Report of Cost Breakdowns for Specification Items for Ship Overhaul

A bidder protested the requirement in invitation for bids that contractor furnish a report of estimated cost breakdowns for various specification items upon completion of contract for overhaul of the USS Bristol County. Requirement was reasonably related to Navy requirements for overhaul of vessels, which was authorized by statute, and was not otherwise improper. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
