The results of a review of a major aircraft corrosion control contract at Travis Air Force Base are provided. The Military Airlift Command (MAC) at Travis contracts on a year-to-year basis for the corrosion control services. The contracting format is unusual in that an appropriate dollar amount is estimated for the contract, with this estimation constituting a fair and reasonable price the base believes would be appropriate for the services.
