  • Participated in an International Monetary Fund panel discussion with officials from the Republic of Indonesia, the International Budget Partnership, and the IMF, regarding accountability, civic engagement, and ensuring that COVID-19 spending meets citizens’ most urgent needs—December 16, 2020.   • Videotaped presentation on several topics-including the COVID-19 Pandemic, Race in America, Government’s Fiscal Outlook and Improving Government Performance, to the Professional Services Council, (PSC) on November 9, 2020. Watch the video
  • Appeared on the podcast “The Engine of Democracy,” produced by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he discussed the independent oversight role of GAO. 
  • Presented on GAO's role in addressing major challenges facing the nation to the AICPA Governmental Accounting and Auditing Update Conference on August 17, 2020. See, Presentation (PDF, 32 pages)
  • Presented on several topics—including GAO’s COVID-related work, developments in the IG community, reform efforts since the CFO Act of 1990, and how accountability organizations are conducting work remotely—to the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) on July 20, 2020.

  • Participated in a webinar on GAO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the Auditors General of Finland and the United Kingdom, as well as the Director General of the INTOSAI Development Initiative, for the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions on June 4, 2020.   • Participated in a panel session on Accountability & Economic Analysis with Brazilian and American judges and other officials during the symposium on Economic Analysis of Law at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC on February 28, 2020.

  • Participated in a panel session with officials from the Department of the Treasury and Office of Management and Budget regarding the CFO Act titled 30 Years Later-What Lies Ahead at the Association of Government Accountants in Washington, DC on February 12, 2020.
