GAO Director Sharon Silas testified on April 29, 2025 before the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, Subcommittee on Health Oversight regarding how many veterans rely on nursing home care to help meet their health needs and how VA has yet to implement all recommendations to ensure that these homes comply with quality standards.
