Our office has one primary goal for the next 5 years: to deliver impactful results. The OIG’s Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2026–2030 establishes the mission, vision, and values that will guide our oversight activities.

The Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2026–2030 illustrates the OIG's unwavering commitment to being a leading force in government oversight. Guided by this plan, the OIG will continue to promote accountability, integrity, and efficiency within GAO through meaningful, timely, and impactful oversight.

This updated plan supersedes OIG-21-2SP, OIG Strategic Plan: 2021–2025, December 21, 2020.
