This document provides guidance to auditors and audit organizations in implementing the continuing professional education requirements prescribed by the 2003 revision of Government Auditing Standards. As of 2011, the GAGAS continuing professional education requirements have not changed since this document was issued. Consequently, this guidance remains effective for the 2011 revision of Government Auditing Standards.
