Transportation Energy Conservation in the Federal Government

Efforts under the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) to develop and promote a transportation energy conservation program as envisioned and authorized have not been developed and implemented. The Department of Energy (DOE) is responsible for energy conservation in the federal government, the largest single user of energy in the nation.
