Grant of Appropriated Funds to the Fourth International Cancer Research Congress

GAO was asked to determine if proposed grant of funds to the Fourth International Cancer Research Congress is appropriate. GAO determined that payment can be made from available approproations if the Surgeon General determines that the proposed grant of funds to the Fourth International Cancer Research Congress is necessary for cancer research.
