A firm protested an Air Force contract award for stage 2 support turbine nozzles for the F110 aircraft, contending that the Air Force improperly chose a higher-priced firm to provide the equipment. GAO held that the Air Force fairly chose the higher-priced firm because it determined that the protester's lower price was outweighed by its lower past performance rating. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
