A firm protested a Department of Defense solicitation for on-site information systems administration and engineering support for the American Forces Information Service (AFIS) headquarters, the Defense Information School, and other AFIS locations, contending that another firm, which has also submitted a proposal to the solicitation, has an impermissible conflict of interest. GAO held that the allegation is based on interference and suspicion rather than substantial facts or hard evidence. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
