A firm protested a Forest Service contract award for reconstruction of a portion of the Bartram Trail in northern Georgia, contending that the Forest Service's selection decision was unreasonable. GAO held that the Forest Service reasonably determined that the awardee's significantly greater experience in the solicited work was worth the relatively modest price premium. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
