Highlights

A firm protested a Navy contract award for a fluidized bed heat treating system. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after initial adverse action on its agency-level protest; and (2) protest did not warrant consideration under the significant-issue exception, since it was not of widespread significance to the procurement community. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
