[Protest of DLA Rejection of Bid for Metals Recovery]

A firm protested the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) rejection of its bid for metals recovery, contending that DLA improperly determined that its bid was technically unacceptable. GAO held that DLA: (1) properly evaluated the protester's bid; and (2) reasonably rejected the protester's bid as technically unacceptable, since the protester failed to correct numerous deficiencies in its bid after discussions. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
