Highlights

A firm protested the Navy's rejection of its bid and contract award for a metal shearing machine, contending that: (1) its offered machine met all requirements; and (2) the literature it submitted explained the available options. GAO held that the Navy reasonably rejected the protester's bid, since the: (1) protester's descriptive literature indicated that its product could not meet certain solicitation requirements; and (2) protester failed to show the options described in the literature were actually available. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
