Highlights

A firm protested an Air Force solicitation for aircraft, contending that the solicitation requirements improperly limited competition to a competitor's product. GAO held that the: (1) solicitation requirements were reasonable, since they were necessary to meet the Air Force's mission needs; and (2) Air Force properly rejected the protester's low bid as a potential source based on its inability to meet the Air Force's minimum requirements. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
