Highlights

A firm protested two Army contract awards for milling machines, contending that the awardee's product: (1) was not domestic; and (2) was not its current model. GAO held that the awardee: (1) took no exception to the requirements and certified that its product was current; and (2) met the domestic-product requirement, since the domestic component costs and its manufacturing costs constituted more than 50 percent of the cost of the foreign components. Accordingly, the protests were denied.
