Highlights

A firm protested a General Services Administration (GSA) contract award for insulated jugs and vacuum bottles, contending that: (1) GSA improperly allowed the awardee to extend its expired bid, since the protester's bid had not expired; (2) GSA should have resolicited to prevent prejudicing the competitive bidding process. GAO held that: (1) GSA properly allowed the awardee to extend its bid acceptance period; and (2) revival of the awardee's bid did not prejudice the competitive bidding process. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
